Baja Bud's Reviews

I love this place! It's one of my go to Mexican food. It's fast, clean and convenient. Food is also good!

Baja Bud's is a cozy neighborhood Mexican restaurant. With corn tortillas made to order, the quick service restaurant makes everything to order. The staff is very friendly and efficient. It's easy to place a phone order and pick it up in about 20 minutes. My go to order is the tostada salad with fish while my family loves the grande burrito and carnitas tacos.

Been coming here over 30 yrs. Food never fails. Burritos and nachos can never go wrong.

Just had to share my love for the Salsa Roja at Baja Buds. Simply my favorite hot sauce in town. Perfectly spiced, and just a little too hot for me. But the flavour is superb. I once asked what peppers and spices were used, the list was very long. It is quite good!!

The last surviving location of once many around Los Angeles. I moved to LA from San Diego myself 5 years ago, so this does not taste quite like the Baja Mexican that I am used to, especially black beans and their specific flavors here, but still it's a solid choice for a good and casual meal. It's just like Chipotle or a cafeteria and that you order at the counter and then watch them put the toppings on that you wish. There is a fairly large parking lot directly in front of the restaurant in the strip mall it's located in and we had no trouble finding a spot there for a Friday night dinner. Service was very fast and they got all of our food items cracked. I started off with their fish taco, which was fairly good, although not quite like the ones back in SD. It's more of a street taco and I would still recommend it. Next came the burrito grande which was very large, but very good. I wish the carne would be a bit more seasoned, but still I enjoyed it. Lastly, we ordered the chicken taquitos which were very very good. The chicken was still juicy and it was fried perfectly and we really enjoyed it. Overall, a good casual Mexican spot for any occasion. I would recommend and plan to be back in the future.

We love Baja Buds and come here about once a month. We sometimes dine in, which is fun and sometimes get take away, which is always great. Located in a strip mall, parking can be tiresome, but give it a minute and a spot will open up. Most are there for to go orders. The place is always spotless and the service is great. The staff is super nice and they will help you. This is a place where you get in line and you can see them making the food and some of it is served from warm burners. It is all great and all fresh. They have a nice salsa bar and sodas. I don't recall if they sell beer. We love all their food, but my favorite is their chicken burrito with extra cheese added. My husband loves their beef and pork. My grandson just loves their beans and rice. You will like this place. They don't use lard. Oh, and their chips are tasty,

These guys are good. I love the Fish Tacos here. Another place i forgot to yelp. We had lunch here last month, and i enjoyed the service and food here. Everything is reasonably priced. But fish tacos in general are usually costly. Nice little gem hidden in the Rancho Park area with good fast diner food. Surely want to visit again.
